Sgt. Benjamin L. Gilman 28 Company A, 41st Engineer Battalion, 10th Mountain Division Meridan, Connecticut Killed when a weapons cache prematurely exploded on January 29, 2004, in Ghazni, Afghanistan. Initially listed as missing, his remains were recovered on February 2, 2004.

 

Lt. Col. Michael J. McMahon 41 Headquarters Troop, 3rd Squadron, 4th Cavalry Regiment, 25th Infantry Division West Hartford, Connecticut Killed when his contract aircraft crashed in Bamian, Afghanistan, on November 27, 2004
